The purpose of this organization is to honor, pay tribute and perpetuate the names of those people, living or dead, who have contributed to the growth and welfare of bowling, by their ability and/or meritorious service in the Greater Muskegon area.

Candidates may be area bowlers, proprietors, sponsors, sports writers, radio/television sportscasters and bowling executives. They must be a minimum of 40 years of age at the time of their induction and shall have actively performed in the Greater Muskegon area for at least 15 years. Each member shall receive a plaque designating their membership. The permanent display plaque will be added to those on display at Northway Lanes. Living members shall receive a "Hall of Fame" sports coat to identify them as a member of this prestigious group.

The Hall of Fame will induct honorees annually and anyone wishing to nominate a candidate for induction into the Hall may obtain nominating blanks from any local bowling center. This form must be filed wit the GMBH/F President or Secretary by April 1st for consideration. Applications for those not selected in the year nominated will remain on file for a period of two years and be considered annually along with new nominations. Selection for induction will be determined after careful investigation of all nominees by the Selection Board and eventual election by the Hall of Fame Board of Directors.
